The video is designed to be a short exercise in learning how to use your video capture tools to tell a story. The video should have at least a wide, medium, and tight/closeup shot included in the project. The project should be around a minute in length. You should include shots of your surroundings other than yourself.

Marketing & Business Sales Directions: Create a marketing plan marketing NCCU to the triangle area of North Carolina. You will have a budget of $40,000 to spend. Please include what NCCU, your advertising plans, traditional broadcasting, a radio script, and a SWOT analysis.

Sports Production Directions:  Create a football graphic with the following images: player, player's action photo, & eagle logo.

Create your own business concept for a logo of your own choosing. Use two words as the logo. Be creative. Be bold. Try using two different typefaces. Try introducing color or gray one of the words or both the words. Also include basic contact information for the business, but make it smaller than the two-word logo itself.

Create a business concept for yourself and make a business card to fit the concept. Use two typefaces only. Select your typefaces carefully to match your concept. Pay attention to how the two typefaces match each other. Pay special attention to where you place the items on the layout. Integrate lines into the layout. The dimensions (and border) of the card are 3½” wide by 2”. No images. 

 In this exercise, you will build a magazine cover page that places everything on top of a photograph. On the cover you should include a nameplate that suits the image, a publication date, a description of the magazine, you should tease the story that the photo refers to. You should tease 2-3 other stories on the cover. 

Create a flyer for a typeface exhibit at NCCU’s art museum. Go wild with this one. Use a lot of typefaces in a lot of colors in this exercise to convey the concept.
